Introducing The BOLT Quilt Shop’s “Out of the Box” Class Series ~ An ongoing program designed to guide you on your individual & unique creative journey as you learn to focus on the quilt “process” rather than “product”. You’ll learn to hear your inner voice, trust your color choices, and become more confident w your decisions in your entire quiltmaking process.
“Being a Liberated quilter means that you can think things through for yourself, just as our great-grandmothers did…Being a Liberated quilter means that you are a more independent quilter, one who doesn’t need patterns and likes making all the choices for yourself…Taking control of your own quiltmaking is an exhilarating and empowering experience.” – Gwen Marston, “Liberated Medallion Quilts”
Making “Parts” (Ode to Gwen Marston & Freddy Moran): A 3-hour on-going monthly class. Each month, we’ll explore & experiment! At the end of the 10-12 month session, having created several of each of the 20+ “parts”, students will individually and/or collaboratively design their quilt top! Pre-registration is required (students only, please) as space is limited.
